This FSX GPS2020 gauge is based upon the original Microsoft gps_500 gauge. It substitutes the original gps_500 (it is developed for FSX, as yet untested on Prepar3D). Although the GPS2020 device is based on the original GPS500 code, it has become so different to the extent that we can no longer call this a 'Garmin GPS 500', it is certainly not a replica of that real-life device (although all of the original features still are there). Hence the new name, in short 'GPS2020'.

This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator Acceleration. It should also work with FSX SP1/SP2 . The functionality of this gauge is based on the Rockwell Collins HGS which is designed for the B737NG . It works correct for FSX B737-800 models only !! The gauge has been developed as close as possible according to the HGS Pilot Guide from Rockwell Collins for normal operations. The HGS can be used during all phases of flight from takeoff to landing. This can include Ground Roll Guidance, all enroute operations and either non-precision or precision approaches. This gauge is very realistic. It supports the pilot particular during approach operations to meet always precise the runway touch down zone by keeping a 3° glide slope angle. Even for a visual approach maneuver the HGS supports the pilot to establish and maintain the aircraft on the proper glide path to the runway without reference to a ground based landing system like ILS. Technical descriptions and installations guide are included in the zip file for further information. Look at video also : https://youtu.be/mw4Q_eOWYtk By Dietmar Loleit
FS9/FSX/P3D Generic GCA Gauge V2.1. This V2.1 (October 2019) package contains three Ground Controlled Approach modules: Approach Pattern Control (APC), Precision Approach Radar (PAR), and a custom Autopilot (AP). You can request Pattern Control from 20 to 30 miles out, and the Approach Controller will set you up for a downwind, dogleg, or straight-in approach leading to a glideslope intercept from which to start the final descent. Taking over at the intercept, the PAR Controller will talk you down until 'over the runway.' The processes can be run either in 'auto-learn' mode or in a range of manual modes creating challenges of varying difficulty. The project is highly indebted to Karol Chlebowski's AILA (Airborne Instrument Landing Approach) gauge, adapted by permission of the author, and Doug Dawson's sound gauge. FS9- specific modifications by Tom Gibson, historical research by Tom Harnish, GCA gauges and manual by Manfred Jahn. See https://youtu.be/MkCGDW1idm8 for a brief introductory video.

Photoreal Animated 2D Panel Yokes.Theese Gages were created to add more realism to the 2D panels especialy for models with no V.C.It is ment mostly for developers but if you follow the instructions you can add them to any of your 2D panels. There are two seperate Yokes one for the pilot and one for the F.O. that can be used at will as panel gauges or you can create a pop up window. The textures are of the King Air series (C90 B200 350 etc) but you can change them to any other yoke if you have a good photo of it.The yokes are rotating according to aileron position movement and are in 700x700 px 8 bit format for extra clarity. Simple Ramp Gauge for FSX. Activation with a klick: Exits 1-4, Tailhook, Wing fold, Jetway, Pushback (left, straight and right) Only tested in FSX & Acceleration!
FSX/P3D/FS2004 Synthetic ILS - for every runway at every airport in the Flight Simulator database, also for FS2004 and P3D AILA - Airborn Instrument Landing Approach system . Instrument enables selection of any of the 24,491 Airports that exist in Flt Sim database , then selection of any Runway at that Airport, then selection of either Rwy end. Airports can be selected at any global distance from aircraft. Distance Bearing and Steering arrow are displayed, the ILS aimpoint is computed at 6% of relevant Runway length and the ILS is full precision with usual ILS Deviation bars text data includes current, Glideslope, Height above Runway, Distance to touchdown aimpoint, offset (Circuit Width)from Runway centerline, full Airport name and details , enables precise rectangular standard circuits to be flown , also enables an Intercept position to be set at any desired distance prior to ILS aimpoint to easily align aircraft with the Runway. Also includes MARK POSITION capture of any location on earth and generation of a Synthetic Runway, ie. a paddock,a beach, a river, lake, sea, hardened rooftop or bridge, and subsequent ILS approach at that location. the default ILS Glideslope is the usual 3.00 degrees but any angle can be set. Can be used in any aircraft, Helicopter, cropduster, float plane, or fire fighting aircraft. 16 page notes PDF, an Airports ICAO PDF, and several descriptive screenshots. By Karol Chlebowski.
These FIPs consolidate some of my earlier FIPs for the default B58, into a cluster of 3 FIPs which together, will provide most of the interactivity for flying the default B58. Engine gauges, fuel pumps and other switches are contained within 1 FIP, another provides the avionics and the third has the AP, fuel gauges, landing gear lights, flaps indication lights and some electrical gauges. The engines gauge also has fuel tanks selector needles and a basic glidescope indicator included for use with NAV1.
FSX, Flypad Gauge Version 2.0 This gauge has been developed on Win7 for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1.It should also work with Acceleration, but this is not guaranteed by the author. The gauge is a little extra addon based on the design of a smart phone and provides 9 different displays which are different from all of the standard gauge displays on a regular aircraft panel. It is mainly helpful for the user flying small propeller aircraft, and old timer aircraft. However, the displays are as well attractive for sim pilots flying modern jet aircraft. Use it as if you just grabbed to your smart phone during a flight and check on the status of your aircraft, or how the terrain awareness situation looks like, how the AI traffic on the radar is, while you proceed with your flight plan. Enjoy the new design of a simple aircraft attitude display during an ILS approach. A new screen for LAT/LON coordination control and distance/bearing calculation has been added to this version in addition with a number of improvements. Gundam extreme vs full boost download. This new version of the radar brings many fonctionalities:

  • Fully compatible with FS2004 and FSX
  • No need of FSUIPC
  • Shows AI traffic and other player aircrafts during multi-player sessions, including IBNet sessions
  • Available in 2 colors (amber and green) for all aircraft generations
  • 2 screen shapes available (rectangular and circular)
  • GDI+ graphics for smoother rendering
  • Improved performance

The best way to have comprehensive information about the new version is to read the documentation. It explains the radar usage, which is very similar to the version 1.0, and explains how to integrate the new radar in your panels. For users who have integrated the old radar in existing panels, a specific section explains how to replace it with the new radar. Anyone who can edit a text file can do it.

Freeware Weather Radar Gauge For Fsx Cessna

Some panels are available here to show how the radar gauge can be integrated.

Lockheed-Martin F-16 Viper
I have update my F-16 panel originally designed for 2002 (Block 20). It is available here as a single auto-installer that includes the radar gauge 2.0 and the Head-Up Display developed by SimScape.
In addition, SimScape has fully re-worked my original F-16 panel to upgrade it to a Block 50 version, with much more advanced features. It includes the radar gauge 2.0 and the F-16 Head-Up Display designed by SimScape. The HUD is linked to the radar to display the radar selected target on the HUD. The panel is freeware, for FS2004 and FSX (SP1 or SP2).
See the SimScape F-16 panel page for more information.
Dassault Mirage 4000
This is a SimScape update of the Mirage 4000 project created with Romain Lucas. The panel has been updated to integrate the new radar and the new HUD.
For more information, click here for more information.
Please note this panel was originally designed for FS2004. Simscape re-worked some gauges so that the panel is now fully compatible with FSX (SP1 or SP2).

Automatic Radar Installation

Adding the radar gauge in an existing aircraft panel requires the edition of the corresponding panel.cfg file. Many people know how to edit this file or can copy and paste the necessary section from the sample panels described above.

Fsx Radar Gauge

For the radar users who don't know how to edit a panel.cfg, or who do not want to know, the Radar Panel Updater is available since February 2013 to automate the integration of the radar gauge into any existing panel. No need to edit the panel.cfg, this utility does it for you. It is a free addition and it is available here.

Download the ZIP file, unzip it anywhere on your hard drive and run it. When the window appears, select your Flight Sim version (FS2004 or FSX) and the utility will scan your aircraft library. When it is done, brwose the library through its manufacturer, model, variation to select an aircraft. Then choose the radar options: size of the radar window, position, radar color and shape, and press 'Add Radar Gauge to Panel'. A message window indicates the success of the operation.

A minor bug was discovered and fixed on June 9th, 2007.This bug was causing a 'buffer overrun' error when using the radar in multi-player in certain conditions. If you purchased the radar before this date, you just have to re-download it and re-install it. You do not need to register it again.
For those you purchased the radar after June 9th, there is no problem.
Some users reported a problem when using the radar with FS2004, saying they couldn't see any aircraft. This is just because a file is missing,I thought it was coming with the standard FS installation, but it doesn't. It has been added in the radar installer, but if you have installed the radar earlier, you just have to download the missing file 'TrafficInfo.dll' HERE and put it in the 'Modules' directory of FS2004.
